Meloni in Tokyo, handover of the G7. Meeting with Kishida
The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloniarrived at Palazzo Kantei, seat of the Japanese government, where she was welcomed by the Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida. “In this handover of the presidency of G7after the Japanese presidency which has done an extraordinary job, it will not be easy to live up to it, but you have traced a path on which it is very easy to work”, said the prime minister at the opening of the bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the Palace Kantei, seat of the Japanese government. “I am very happy to be here, It is significant that in just over a year this is our fourth bilateral meeting since we decided to elevate our collaboration to the rank of strategic partnership. An extraordinary job was done that I am very proud of. Our cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels is excellent”, added Meloni, to whom Kishida gave a “Warm welcome” in Japan. The two leaders are accompanied by their respective delegations.
