The protagonist of The Moon Killers by Martin Scorsese traveled to Spain as part of a promotion for the Oscars. Lily Gladstone has been a trending topic after her speech at the Golden Globes and her nomination as best actress for the Academy Awards.

The film is based on the book The Moon Killers by journalist David Grann, which is based on the genocide. “I knew this story when I was a teenager because I did ballet and admired (Osage dancer) Marie Tallchief. But back then, neither I nor anyone around me knew how brutal the story was. Only after the publication of Grann's book did we understand the seriousness of it. When I read it, I realized it was another example of systemic racism and corruption.”
