After a period of observation, a decision will be madeopening of the extraordinary administration requested by Filctem-Cgil and Uiltec-Uil to guarantee job stability and business continuity, with the judicial liquidation as a possible alternative, already open for La Perla Global Management UK, the English counterpart of the company with seventy workers.
“This decision was essential to start a discussion on equal terms with the English liquidators – comments the regional councilor Vincenzo Colla –. It is important to make the two procedures communicate, so as to have both the brand and the activity payable”. Only at that point will it be possible to contact individuals interested in taking over the business. Times? “First of all, I thank the delegate judge for being really quick – concludes Colla –. He understood the situation of the creditors, but also the social impact of this dispute. I hope the timeframe will be contained within a few weeks”.
