The transfer, which was not without economic tensions between Crystal Palace and Genk in Belgium, was marked by rumors that Muñoz had gone into rebellion, refusing to train with the Belgian club to force his signing for the English team.

“As a person, I think I am very family-oriented. I have my wife, I have two children and I think that is the center of my life. Later, as a player, I think I am an intelligent, technical and fast player, I think that is what has characterized me, but I think that my greatest virtue is discipline and work, my dedication. “I will always do my best for these colors, for this club and for my teammates,” he concluded in a video published this Tuesday.
Muñoz, originally from Antioquia, Colombia, joins Jefferson Lerma on the team. Lerma has been a key piece in English coach Roy Hodgson's strategy, participating in 19 games and contributing with one assist.
