Accused denied the events with “extremely implausible” claims, states the Helsinki District Court in its judgment.
He claimed that he had passed out at the time of the events and doubted whether he himself had been taken advantage of. In addition, he claimed that there was a girl in the apartment at the time of the incident, who happily had sex with several men in front of others.

The district court sentenced the accused in September 2019 by Alari Proman to two years and eight months of unconditional imprisonment.
The Helsinki Court of Appeal upheld the district court's verdict.
