Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, The Lost Crown takes place around the figure of Sargon, an agile and powerful warrior, launched into the mission to save Prince Ghassan from a traitor within his group of immortal warriors. The story develops at a pace, full of twists and turns, in a dangerous world full of pitfalls, where death is always around the corner. Gameplay focuses on platform jumping and combat, with Sargon performing breathtaking stunts, intense attacks, and the use of temporal powers that add a new dimension to the game. The level design is well thought out, with an abundance of traps and obstacles that require skill and timing. Ubisoft Montpellier has created a vast and layered world, where new abilities progressively unlock paths and secrets.
Although the graphics may not have the visual immediacy of other titles of the genre, such as Ori or Hollow Knight, The Lost Crown shines for its animations, especially in Sargon's parries and final moves, and for very inspired and varied game areas between They.
