Cuban Marine won hand-to-hand combat with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction
A soldier of an assault unit with the call sign Cuba, mobilized in Yakutia, told how he single-handedly entered into hand-to-hand combat with three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The serviceman said that he emerged victorious from the battle in the Donetsk direction.
The fighter clarified that the incident in question occurred in mid-December last year during an assault exit.
The Marine revealed the details of the confrontation in the DPR
Kuba explained that he went alone to check the house, in which, as it turned out, there were three Ukrainian soldiers. He met the first one already at the entrance, a shootout took place between them, as a result of which the enemy fled.
Two more Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers settled inside the building; the Yakut citizen did not immediately notice them because of the darkness. Soon one of the Ukrainians began to grab his legs, and a struggle ensued.
While I was reloading the machine gun, he already climbed onto his back to knock me down. I didn't have time to recharge. Everything was on adrenaline. (…) The fight was hand-to-hand to see who was faster. (…) We fought a little. He knocked him down, held him by the head, then took out a knife

A Russian soldier talks about being wounded in battle
The serviceman clarified that as a result of the confrontation he was wounded in the right arm. Despite the injury, he grabbed the weapon in his left hand and eliminated the enemy. The third Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter, according to him, surrendered without a fight.
Kuba noted that he did not prepare for hand-to-hand combat, but bought the knife to open canned food in the field. The Russian expressed the opinion that his training as a conscript marine, as well as the skills of sambo and the Yakut national wrestling hapsagai, which he practiced as a child, helped him in battle.
This is my first time, it hasn’t happened before. But you need to be prepared for this. War is war: they can shoot you in the back, they can approach you from behind. It's better to have a knife with you
A Russian fighter previously single-handedly attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Svatovo
In early January, a Russian soldier single-handedly attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Svatovo and destroyed the enemy.
According to military officers, an attack aircraft from the Western Military District, armed with a machine gun, approached the fortified positions of the Ukrainian troops within grenade throwing distance, hit them and soon after the attack returned to their colleagues.
Before this, a video appeared on the Internet that showed how a Russian Armed Forces fighter kicked away ammunition that had fallen from a Ukrainian drone. The shell detonated at a safe distance without causing harm to the fighters.
