Vladimir Zelensky and Rishi Sunak
Zelensky-Sunak, there is an agreement on security. The British Prime Minister: “Hesitation would encourage Putin”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak signed a security agreement between the two countries in Kiev. The Guardian writes, reporting that Zelensky described it as an “unprecedented security agreement”. According to the Ukrainian president, quoted by the Kiev media, the agreement will remain in force until Ukraine joins NATO. Hesitation on aid to Ukraine would “embolden” Vladimir Putin, North Korea and Iran, the British prime minister has said.

Sunak will announce a 2.9 billion euro military aid package for Ukraine for the year 2024/2025, Downing Street said. This is an increase of approximately 233 million euros compared to the previous two years. Welcoming Kiev's determination to defend itself from Russian invasion, the prime minister said “the UK will not waver either”. And he added: “We will stand by Ukraine, in the darkest hours and in the best times to come.”
Medvedev, GB troops in Kiev declare war
“British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in Kiev to sign a 'historic security agreement'. How would Western public opinion react if the British delegation came under cluster munition fire in central Kiev, as happened to civilians of our Belgorod? And one more thing: I hope that our eternal enemies, the arrogant British, understand that the deployment of their official military contingent in Ukraine will mean a declaration of war on our country.” Thus the vice-president of the Russian Security Council Dmitri Medvedev threatens Great Britain on Telegram.
