The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation launched the “Labor Market Observatory in the UAE”, which provides periodic data and information in Arabic and English on the various indicators of the labor market, the outputs of its regulatory policy system, innovative programs and initiatives, and other topics related to it in the country.
Assistant Undersecretary for Communication and International Relations, Shaima Al-Awadhi, said: “The launch of the observatory comes in line with the transparency approach that the Ministry follows with its customers. It provides data and information about the reality of the labor market in the Emirates, with ease, and in a method and mechanism that relies on continuous updating in a way that supports research and standard comparisons, and access to the growth achieved in various aspects and fields.”
She explained that the observatory supports the ministry’s drive to enhance electronic and digital services and enhance the sharing of statistical data. It is considered a reliable source of data and information related to the labor market for the media, international organizations, researchers and those interested in labor markets. Its contents can also be used as guidance in making decisions, which constitutes a compass for agencies, investors and employers.
