Oh, oh, oh. I think the greatest car designers in the world would have an acute pain in the eyes if they were to see the new BMW XM from Mansory. What an extremity on wheels, this plug-in hybrid from BMW M.
You are the sporting branch of a car brand and you have been around for 50 years. What are you doing then? Exactly, releasing a heavy-duty plug-in hybrid. No, the logic of the BMW XM still eludes us. Tuners don't care at all. They are more than happy to batter the BMW XM even further, which is exactly what Mansory has done.
To be honest, I don't think the BMW XM has become any uglier after Mansory's makeover. The already brutal PHEV is even more brutal. But of course all that carbon hits like a pair of pliers to a pig.
This BMW SUV is in itself a terribly heavy device of more than two tons. All that carbon isn't going to make things much better. Moreover, you have to pay attention to thresholds.
