X Factor 2023 Live: previews, contestants, assignments and guests of the second episode, 2 November
This evening, Thursday 2 November 2023, at 9.15 pm on Sky Uno, the second live episode of X Factor 2023, the musical show hosted by Francesca Michielin, will be broadcast. Four rosters on the field, for a total of 12 competitors. Four judges judged them: Fedez, Ambra Angiolini, Dargen D’Amico and Morgan. Each of them leading a heterogeneous team, photographing the contemporary music scene and its trends, and all very determined to achieve the final victory. Below are the previews, assignments and guests for this evening.
Previews and guests
For the four judges, this year, the task is more demanding and stimulating than ever: they will be the ones to follow, personally and in mutual agreement with the competitors, all the phases of creation and realization of the performances. Right from the start, from the first Live Show, during which the competing artists will be divided into two heats in which they will perform covers of songs by very popular artists on the Italian and international music scene. In the following weeks, the much-loved themed heats will return, the orchestral heat, the carousel – the shortest heat of the season, during which the competitors will perform their pieces in a sort of very fast chain without pauses between one and the other – and obviously the episode in which the unreleased songs of the boys still competing will be presented.
In the creative team that week after week will support the judges in this work, imagining and then concretely creating the musical and television show inside the new X Factor Arena in Assago (just outside Milan), confirmed Laccio and Shake, exponents of the Modulo Project , an artistic community that has stood out over the years for its success in the world of show business and entertainment.
This year too, X Factor 2023 will be full of extraordinary guests, episode after episode, and each will give life to a performance created exclusively for the program. Super guest of the second Live, Thursday 2 November, will be Elodie.
These are the judges’ assignments to their artists:
- for Fedez’s team, ASIA will perform a cover of “All The Stars” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA; Maria Tomba will bring her energy with “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC; SARAFINE will bring her reinterpretation of “Eleanor Rigby” by the Beatles;
- for Ambra’s team, Gaetano De Caro will perform a cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” (in Calum Scott’s version); Angelica will sing “Love Me Again” by John Newman; Matteo Alieno will bring “Dio mio no” by Lucio Battisti;
- for Dargen’s team, Il Solito Dandy will perform to the tune of “Giulia” by Gianni Togni; SEPTEMBER will bring “Chiagne” by Geolier feat. Lazza and Takagi & Ketra; the Stunt Pilots will sing a cover of Sting’s “Englishman In New York”;
- for Morgan’s team, SELMI will bring a cover of Radiohead’s “No Surprises”; SickTeens will bring “Voices” by Russ Ballard.
Meanwhile, the wait is growing for the outcome of the repechage, thanks to which a competitor eliminated during the selections will be able to officially enter the competition: the Astromare and Anna Castiglia will compete for entry into the show. The recovered competitor will become part of Morgan’s team – orphaned by the Animaux Formidables, eliminated from the first episode – and will officially be in the competition straight away, performing in the second heat.
