10,100 volunteers participated in the campaign and contributed to preparing 25,000 relief packages over the past two days through activities organized in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, collecting more than 550 tons of relief materials, and 120 tons were sent to the city of Al-Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt in cooperation with the World Food Programme. To be brought into the Gaza Strip, it includes nutritional needs and the special needs of children and mothers.
The campaign is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the World Food Programme, and in coordination with the Ministry of Community Development, with the participation of 20 charitable and humanitarian institutions, in addition to national volunteer platforms.
