Former United States President Donald Trump said Friday that he will maintain his candidacy to return to the White House even if he is found guilty and sentenced in any of the criminal investigations carried out against him.
The reaction of the ex-president (2017-2021) and main candidate of the Republican Party to the federal and state charges that he faces at the judicial level in the middle of his candidacy for a second term in the 2024 elections transcends one day after he federal prosecutors added three felony counts to the indictment against him for his handling of classified documents.
Asked by radio host John Fredericks if an unfavorable ruling would halt his campaign, Trump quickly responded: “Not at all. There’s nothing in the Constitution that says you should.”.
According to Trump, “even the crazy ones on the radical left say no, that wouldn’t stop me, and it wouldn’t stop me either. These people are sick.”

Trump noted that previous presidents, including Democrat Barack Obama (2009-2017) and Republican George W. Bush (2001-2009), “took documents” from White House files, falsely suggesting that their predecessors had had conduct similar to the alleged crimes for which he is charged.
“No one has ever been through this. This is crazy,” he added, arguing that he had done nothing wrong.
The Republican tycoon, who has survived two congressional impeachments, was first indicted in the classified documents case last month.
According to justice, is responsible for endangering national security by keeping nuclear information in its possession and top-secret defense after leaving the White House.

These are all the judicial processes against Trump
And it is that while waiting for the probable accusation for his responsibility in the assault on the Capitol to arrive, the former president sees the accusations against him gradually increase as he continues his run for the White House and boasts of being the Republican with the most options.
Trump became the first ex-president of the country to be indicted in March, in that case for the alleged illegal payment to the porn actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election campaign in exchange for her silence. With the classified documents came the second accusation. And if the one from the Capitol arrives, it will be the third.

These are not, in any case, the only processes in which the controversial Trump, 77, is involved. It has several open fronts for political, economic and sexual crimes and his political objectives may be seriously hampered if he is convicted or charged again.
In the case of classified papers, for example, there are no longer 37, but 40, the charges that Trump accumulates and that they will be tried in Florida. They are not minor crimes, but of special gravity for the former president.
Those charges increased when federal prosecutors published the new indictment this Thursday against the favorite for the 2024 Republican presidential primaries, who will be tried in this case in May of next year.

The charges accuse the magnate of acting in conjunction with his co-defendant in the case, personal assistant Waltine “Walt” Nauta, and property manager Carlos de Oliveira to Delete the footage from Mar-a-Lago’s security cameras.
The complaint document records a conversation between de Oliveira and a fourth, unidentified employee, in which the administrator says that “the boss” wants the server to be deleted.
The new indictment was issued the same day that Trump’s lawyers met with prosecutors about a possible indictment in a separate case related to the former president’s alleged efforts to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election.
What will happen to the former president?
