EA former associate of Rudy Giuliani has sued the former New York City mayor for “widespread sexual assault and sexual harassment.” Noelle Dunphy is seeking $10 million in damages from former President Donald Trump’s attorney, according to the 70-page lawsuit filed in New York on Monday. Accordingly, Dunphy accuses Giuliani of wage theft.
The indictment speaks of “alcohol-fueled” rants with sexist, racist and anti-Semitic remarks” that made the work environment “unbearable”. According to the lawsuit, Giuliani “often requested oral sex while on the phone with high-ranking friends and clients, including then-President Trump.”
Dunphy began working for Giuliani in January 2019 as the head of business development for a salary of $1 million a year. According to them, Giuliani began the abuse almost immediately after starting the employment relationship. “He made it clear that the satisfaction of his sexual desires, which came virtually anytime, anywhere, was an absolute requirement of her employment,” the lawsuit continues.
According to this, Giuliani forced her to perform oral sex “against her will” in his apartment. In addition, Giuliani “often requested that she work naked, in a bikini or in shorts with an American flag that he had bought for her”. In addition, Giuliani is said to have often called the plaintiff “from his bed, where he was clearly touching himself under a white sheet”.
Dunphy also accused Giuliani of telling her that her pay would be “deferred and her employment kept ‘secret'” until his divorce proceedings were resolved. According to the lawsuit, she worked for Giuliani until January 2021.
A spokesman for the 78-year-old lawyer said in a statement to the American media that Giuliani “resolutely and completely rejects the allegations in the lawsuit” and wants “to take full action against these allegations”. “This is pure harassment and an attempt at blackmail,” the spokesman said.
Giuliani served as mayor of New York for eight years and was recognized for his work in the financial metropolis. In recent years, however, his reputation has suffered, largely due to his support for then-President Trump’s widely debunked conspiracy theory of a stolen 2020 election victory.
