He has been sharing technology-focused content on his channel since October 27, 2009, and has become a reliable source of gadget reviews. Danny takes pride in delivering his reviews “straight to the point and no fluff” and has built a loyal following over the years.
Recently, Danny reviewed the Mearth GTS Evo Electric Scooter on his channel, which is the flagship series of Mearth New Zealand. Mearth New Zealand is the extension company of Mearth Australia, the Pioneer in Australian Electric Scooters. It was just recently that Mearth Australia knew it was time to expand to the beautiful land of the Kiwi’s, to provide a solution to spare time, solve traffic and save the environment.
And to add, just this 2023, Mearth Australia also added new and improved updates to all its electric scooter collection, making it the latest up-to-date e-scooters as possible. No wonder why these big boys are even more irresistible. Mearth ensures that every model is made with high-quality, locally-designed components.
In his video review, Danny enthusiastically said, “If you’re looking for an e-scooter with more power, I have the Mearth GTS Evo here. This thing is a beast. It’s so much fun, and let me tell you all about it!”
During his video, Danny shared some insights about Mearth. He emphasized the company’s wide range of e-scooters, naming each series: the Mearth S Series, the Mearth RS series, the Mearth GTS Evo series, and the latest Mearth Cyber. Danny highly recommended the S and RS series for city commuters and casual riders, which we are sure that Kiwi’s in the urban areas, going to work or school, will truly love. The GTS Evo series on the other hand are for the Kiwi’s who love the thrill, the performance rides.
Danny was so impressed with the Mearth GTS Evo series that he pointed out the external features, the body, and how it has a sleek design with a heavy-duty 6000 series aerial grade aluminum frame. “It’s really heavy duty, strong, and looks amazing!” Then he warns, “But now [because of the high-quality material], this thing is really heavy! The Evo is 33 kg and the Max is 41 kg, so you know, prepare to use your legs when you’re lifting this thing because it can be very heavy.”
For New Zealanders who prefer a much lighter electric scooter that can still get them where they need to be, the Mearth S entry-level e-scooter series might be for you. The classic Mearth S, is the most lightweight e-scooter ever, weighing only 12.5 kg and its advanced pair, the Mearth S Pro is at 15 kg. If you’re passed the entry-level and believe you’re a level higher, go for the Mearth RS, the long-range e-scooter. Both models in this series are only 23 kg. But again, if you want your adrenaline pumping, the flagship e-scooter, go for the Mearth GTS Evo series, just keep the weight of this e-scooter in mind. But the good news is that because of the weight, the Mearth GTS Evo is also so beefy, it can carry a beefy load up to 150 kg. So there is absolutely no body shaming here, no one will really ever need to worry about a thing.
Danny also added that the Mearth GTS Evo and Mearth GTS Evo Max models “have a voltage meter on the handlebars, which helps riders keep track of their battery status. On top of that, you have a throttle trigger (he points to it) up here, which makes it a lot easier for long rides. And you have a nice display screen that you can see during the day and especially at night time.”
He continued to explain the different specifications of the two 2023 models, “So there is a Mearth GTS Evo and Mearth GTS Evo Max, which have some different specs that I’ll go through and tell you all of that throughout this video.
As for the wheels, Danny emphasized, “The wheels are 10 inches, all-terrain pneumatic air-filled tires. They’re also front and rear vacuum explosion-proof tires, and that’s going to keep you from getting flats or punctures. It’s got suspension in the front and the rear, which makes it really smooth on off-road surfaces or just hitting bumps you won’t even feel them.”
Danny with so much energy exclaimed, “The motor on this thing is insane, the GTS Evo motor power has 1000 watts, and the GTS Evo Max has 1200 watts, which will give you a top speed with the GTS of 45 kph and the Max at 75 kph – very, very fast and very fun…”
Danny continued to demonstrate the robust Mearth GTS e-scooter and reminded his viewers to be careful with it because of its powerful specs. It is important to always wear your approved helmet and safety gear for maximum protection.
After providing all the necessary details and specifications about the Mearth GTS Evo series, Danny concluded his review by sharing his final thoughts on the e-scooter. He stated, “Overall, I highly recommend the Mearth GTS Evo series to anyone who wants to experience the thrill of riding a high-performance e-scooter. It’s built with quality components, has a sleek design, and can reach impressive speeds. Whether you’re commuting to work, running errands, or just riding for fun, this e-scooter is definitely worth considering.”
As a prominent figure in the technology industry, Danny’s reviews and recommendations carry a lot of weight. Many of his subscribers trust his opinions and often make purchasing decisions based on his reviews. With his positive review of the Mearth GTS Evo series, it’s likely that many of his viewers will consider purchasing the e-scooter for themselves.
