Square Enix has released a new series of images of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, an updated version of the game originally released for PSP. In the images, players can see famous characters from the series and how the developer has arranged the combat and navigation interfaces of the action RPG.
The company has confirmed that the updated version will bring back the quest system, which takes place separately from the main adventure. Additionally, he revealed that the game will gain a new gameplay system that will allow enemies to be prevented from using some of the characters’ most powerful abilities.
The images published by Square Enix also reveal that the updated version of the game will bring back the different attack techniques that Zack Fair can use. Players will also be able to control an updated selection of spells and the material fusion system, which grants access to even more powerful options.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will bring some interface changes and promises significantly improved graphics and performance. With versions confirmed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC and Nintendo Switch, the game will make its official debut on December 13 this year.
