Juarez City.- The General Directorate of Public Works reported 70 percent progress in the construction of the hospital for children with cancer and leukemia, which will be located on Clara Fuentes Avenue and Prolongación Manuel J. Clouthier, a work carried out under the 2023 Participatory Budget program.
The general director of the department, Daniel González García, said that work is being done on the first stage of the project, which consists of a reception area, bathrooms, medical offices, a nursery and chemotherapy area, as well as a therapy preparation room, a project that is being carried out with an investment of 7 million 294 thousand 422.36.
The official mentioned that the work remains active and progressing significantly, so that to date the perimeter walls, the interiors and the roof have been finished, in addition to leaving adequate spaces for the construction of stairs and an elevator.
The Director of Public Works stressed that the building will be of great benefit to families with children suffering from these diseases.
