This may be the summary of the situation in the Aragon labor market in which 59% of companies plan to hire in the next six months, although the forecast of demand for workers falls 30% compared to the previous survey in February and after growing the number of Social Security affiliates by 10,315 people.
This is one of the main conclusions of the business survey of the labor market carried out by CEOE Aragón -among 391 companies from the three Aragonese provinces, of all sectors and sizes-, through which an estimated hiring forecast of 15,175 professionals.
The Most of the hiring will be carried out in the province of Zaragozaestimating a total of 11,892 contracts. Behind it is the province of Huesca with 2,122 contracts and, finally, Teruel with 1,211 contracts.
The main occupations are related to the jobs of manufacturing industry productionsalespeople in stores and warehouses, cashiers and ticket clerks, as well as administrative jobs. They are professionals who are in demand due to the industrial specialization of the Aragonese economy.
However, there are opportunities to other profiles and sectors such as nursing assistants, waiters, truck drivers, computer engineers, cooks, bricklayers and industrial production engineers. These 10 professions concentrate the 47% of demand.
They are jobs for whichIn 56% of cases, Vocational Training is requested and professional certificates, while 21% require primary and secondary studies and 19% require both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
And among the necessary qualifications are production, assembly and maintenance (19%), professional licenses (17%), engineering and quality control (9.5%), languages (9%), sales techniques and marketing (9%) and new technologies (7.5%).
The incorporations will occur mainly in the production, assembly and maintenance department which accounts for 44% of the forecasts, as well as 16.5% in marketing, marketing and sales. For its part, 9.5% is for the engineering and R&D&i area and 9.5% for administration. In addition, 8.5% is for the logistics, purchasing and supply department.
Unfilled positions

A situation in which it is urgent to prepare a Employability Plan that improves the adaptation between labor supply and demand with active employment policies, prospecting of business needs and analysis of the profiles of unemployed people. This plan would have already been included as one of the key points of the Socioeconomic Agreement of the Legislature signed on November 6 between the Government of Aragon and the social agents.
