The meeting was attended by members of the committee: Shatha Saeed Al-Naqbi, the committee’s rapporteur, Sarah Muhammad Falaknaz, Dr. Sheikha Obaid Al-Tunaiji, Afra Bakheet Al-Alili, and Nasser Muhammad Al-Yamahi, members of the Federal National Council.
The committee’s rapporteur, Shatha Al-Naqbi, said that the committee, as part of its work plan to discuss the issue of the General Sports Authority’s policy regarding supporting the sports sector in the country, held meetings with the authorities concerned with the sports sector, where it listened to 28 officials and experts in the field of sports from 21 sports federations representing sports. In the country, the challenges and obstacles to the work of these federations were discussed.
