Riot Games has revealed that Illaoithe Kraken priestess from League of Legends, will join the cast of fighters of 2XKOthe fighting game previously known as Project L. The announcement was accompanied by a trailerwhich you can find in the player below.
In League of Legends canon, Illaoi is a mighty warrior and prophet of the Great Kraken who uses a massive golden idol to rip the spirits from the bodies of her victims and obliterate their perception of reality. Traits that we also see again in the fighter's presentation film, that she can use the sphere to beat the unfortunate person in question with powerful blows. Her specialty however is that of summon tentacles onto the field which can hit or trap opponents.
Illaoi will be one of the characters available in the preview build of 2XKO which will be made available to EVO Japan 2024 participants, along with the fighters already confirmed, namely Ekko, Ahri, Darius and Yasuo.
What is 2XKO?
Before leaving you, we remind you that 2XKO will be available during the 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
It is a 2v2 fighting game which allows you to play both competitively and cooperatively thanks to the Duo Play system. Basically, one player controls a character in the ring, while the other waits to be switched off-screen. This doesn't mean you need to play with two people, as the game will support one-on-one, two-on-two, and even two-on-one combat.
