The UAE Employment Competitiveness Council stated that there are four interim classifications for the job seeker’s status on the “Nafes” platform. Periodically, he updates his personal data, completes the required information, and submits applications to join the initiatives for which he is qualified according to his needs, noting that if the job seeker does not adhere to these steps for a period of three months, his classification will be transferred to the stage of “inactive researcher.”
According to the Council, “the job seeker (inactive) on the platform will not be able to apply for the initiatives for which he is qualified, or benefit from the employment opportunities and programs offered,” stressing the importance of the commitment of those with this classification to enter the “Nafes” platform and update their data. The Council explained that the third classification for citizens seeking work registered on the platform is known as “Visitor,” and it is a classification specific to national cadres classified as “inactive” on the platform, and includes the category that has not modified its classification for a period exceeding three months, stressing that “the owner of this classification ( A visitor does not have any right to apply for initiatives for which he is qualified, or to benefit from the employment opportunities and programs offered on the platform.
He stated that if the job seeker (visitor) does not commit to entering the platform, updating his personal data, and completing the required information for a period of three months, he will be transferred to the last classification, which is known as “suspended user,” and thus he will not be able to use the platform.
