The grant comes within the framework of the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah towards advancing the book industry in the region and the world, supporting the efforts of publishers and facilitating their success, in addition to expanding options for access to sources of knowledge and learning for new generations in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, and emphasizing the role of libraries in achieving a comprehensive cultural renaissance. sustainable, and building future societies.

Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Book Authority, said: “As much as His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah’s grant constitutes financial support for publishers and cognitive support for new generations of readers in Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates, it sends a message to us in Sharjah and the region, individuals and institutions. “It confirms that what we aspire to today and what we seek to achieve in the future depend on the belief of children and young people in the value of the book, and on their attachment to the value of knowledge and learning.
