Some 18,000 people remain without mobile coverage due to the damage caused by DANA and around another 11,000 landline subscribers remain without serviceaccording to the latest report published by the Government based on the information sent by the telecommunications operators.
According to the data offered by the Executive this Saturday, some 209,000 customers have already recovered the fixed telecommunications service, which isabout 95% of the 220,000 initially affected.
In the case of mobile telephony, the affected lines are around 300,000, of which 282,000 (94%) already have connectivity.

In this context, Telecoms work in coordination with emergency services and the country’s main operators have published connection recovery data in the last few hours.
In the case of Telefónica, the company has recovered 100% of the fixed central infrastructures of its network and 93% of the mobile oneswhile MasOrange has restored connections for more than 90% of its affected customers.
For its part, Vodafone Spain has reestablished communications for the 94% of mobile lines in the areas affected by DANA and 88% of fixed lines.
Gas and water supply
On the other hand, the Government report also states that there are 13,679 gas supply points that do not have service (all of them due to “preventive cuts”), a figure that represents 2.3% of the 606,000 gas supply points that exists in the Valencian Community.
The document also indicates that there are 7,900 affected by problems with the supply of running water.
