The train is on strike again and when you do get into the car, you end up in the middle of a traffic jam between trucks and tractors. But we have a bit of a distraction.
The new year is starting off quite chaotic, at least in terms of traffic: While the so-called farmers' protests blocked the roads over a large area on Monday, there will be another rail strike from Wednesday. It is probably not a particularly bold assumption that traffic will only be more mixed due to the canceled trains and S-Bahn.
So if you feel like you've been stuck in traffic all day since Monday or are already mentally preparing for it, then it might help you to know that others feel the same way. Ultimately, the people in front of you, who hopefully don't honk at you all the time, are just (desperate) people.
