A total of 15 adolescents who are in the Specialized Center for Social Reintegration for Adolescents No. 2 (CERSAI 2) completed their academic studies thanks to the support of the programs offered by the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE).
As part of the process to promote their social reintegration, a graduation ceremony was held, where three of them were awarded certificates for completing primary education, eight for completing secondary education, and four for obtaining their high school certificate.
This joint effort with the Ministry of Education and Sports represents a new opportunity for young people in their process of reintegration into society.
In addition, 18 teenagers received recognition for having participated in vocational workshops taught at the centre, which provide them with useful skills for their future.
Among the workshops offered, three women completed a nail design course, six teenagers learned how to make compost, and nine completed a hair cutting workshop.
These programs are designed to provide them with tools that facilitate their labor and social reintegration once they complete their process at the center.
With these actions, the SSPE reaffirms its commitment through the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration System to guarantee access to new opportunities and the social reintegration of minors.
