Civitanova Marche, 14-year-old raped outside a club
A 14-year-old girl reported to the Carabinieri of Civitanova Marche, in the province of Macerata, that she had been raped outside a club by a 25-year-old.
The violence allegedly took place during the night between Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August in the San Marone neighbourhood. According to initial reconstruction, the young woman was in a club with a 16-year-old friend with whom she was on holiday.
The girls were allegedly accompanied to the club by some relatives who were supposed to come back to pick them up. However, the two accepted the invitation of two 25-year-olds of North African origin to take a walk and have a drink without telling their relatives.
The fourteen-year-old allegedly went off with one of the two, who also offered her drugs. When she returned to her shocked friend, she allegedly told her about the sexual assault.
The carabinieri were notified and the young woman was taken to the hospital where the violence was confirmed. The carabinieri, who will interview the victim in the next few hours as well as her friend, are examining the premises’ cameras to try to trace the two 25-year-olds.
