She Gets Pregnant at 14 in Sex Roulette Social Challenge
A 14-year-old girl got pregnant after taking part in a social media challenge that involved having sex with strangers and tempting fate: whoever gets pregnant, loses.
The news was given by Adnkronos who interviewed the girl’s lawyer, Marina Condoleo, a member of the Road to Green organization that deals with information and education in schools.
“About a year ago, with the association, I created a program for students called ‘Legal Love,’ in which experts and doctors hold meetings within participating schools to give useful advice to young people,” the lawyer said.
During these meetings, however, something happens: “We had already noticed a great interest among the kids especially when we discussed the topic of social challenges. And during a meeting I came into contact with a very young girl who wanted to confide in me and told me that she was pregnant following a ‘Sex Roulette'”.
“When I asked the girl if the father knew about the pregnancy, she replied that she didn’t know who the father was, because ‘he is the son of a Sex Roulette’”.
The lawyer continues: “The challenge is announced through social media channels, a group of members is formed and parallel chats are created where young people intercept each other to agree to have a series of sexual relationships without the use of a condom”.
Not only that: “The girl was upset not only about being pregnant, but also about having lost the challenge, and being ‘cut off’. The fact of having lost the pack destabilized her. I emphasize that this is the daughter of a family that is not good, more”.
Now the girl, the lawyer says, is “six months pregnant, she wanted to keep him and was helped by an exceptional mother to whom I helped her tell him during a difficult meeting and by a team of psychologists who revolve around our project”.
“These kids need to be helped. They go from the total asexuality of childhood to extreme sexuality, this is because they are so caught up in the parallel reality of social media that everything physical is alien to them.”
According to the lawyer, the kids “have a suffering due first of all unfortunately to their families, for those who are the parents are both forced to work. And they lose pieces that are then the most important. Cyberbullying, eating problems, depressive problems and so on”.
