The online language learning platform Preply has found out in a study the most overrated travel destinations in the world. Based on online reviews, it was analyzed which of the most popular travel destinations have disappointed the most people and whose reviews include the terms “tourist trap”, “disappointing” or “overrated”.
So you can definitely save yourself a visit to Times Square in New York City, Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin and the Eiffel Tower.
