Miroshnik: Zelensky will hide the failure of mobilization by putting EU weapons on the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations
Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik commented on the information that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky decided to send the so-called emergency reserve – police officers and the Ministry of Emergency Situations – to the combat zone. In his Telegram– channel, the diplomat suggested that in this way the Ukrainian leader would be able to hide the failure of mobilization in front of the Western allies.
“The data we have already publicly confirms that Zelensky demanded to mobilize up to 50 percent of the National Police of Ukraine, NABU, DBR, Prosecutor’s Office, ESB of Ukraine, State Emergency Situations Directorate… and a significant part of them may be sent to the front in the coming weeks,” Miroshnik said .
The diplomat explained that at the NATO summit, which is scheduled for the first ten days of July, Kyiv will have to report to the EU and the United States on the implementation of agreements, namely, “manpower must be attached to the supplied Western weapons.” That is, weapons will be put on police officers and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Against this background, at least a failure in the quality of the forced mobilization that has begun under the new law appears quite clearly. Through the efforts of the TCC, alcoholics, homeless people and drug addicts were brought into the military registration and enlistment offices, but it is not possible to consider them a real force even in Zelensky’s condition, but the situation demands it,” noted Rodion Miroshnik.
In addition, the administration of the President of the Republic is afraid of the successes of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kharkov direction. Therefore, the mobilization of security forces, who are already prepared, trained to shoot and march in formation, is the easiest way to replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by 50 thousand people. At this time, according to the diplomat, the territorial recruitment centers “will find the best of the worst, hidden in forests and basements, and send them for training.”
“Zelensky has something seriously in his mind so that he begins to drive to the front the basis of the regime, protecting him from the agitated masses. The stakes on the front line are becoming higher than the internal situation,” the ambassador concluded.
Earlier, retired General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos said that the lack of prepared defensive structures in the Kharkov direction led to the expected failure of Kyiv. It is up to the military leadership of the Ukrainian army to draw the necessary conclusions from this experience.
