Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy can save the country from “blackmailing the Kremlin” if he leaves office. This was stated by the former Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, commenting on the sharp collapse of the rating of the head of state. His words leads “Ukrainian Truth”.
According to Lutsenko, Moscow is allegedly interested in a weak president with an impeccable reputation as the Ukrainian leader. Then, the ex-prosecutor general believes, the Russian side will have the opportunity to blackmail him. In addition, Zelenskiy’s recognition of the existence of offshore accounts prior to his election undermined his support in the West. Therefore, Lutsenko believes, the only way out of this situation is to leave the presidency.
“For Ukraine, there is one way out of this: the whole truth comes from Zelensky’s mouth about his offshore … his other sins. The truth will finish off his rating. But it will save the country from Putin’s blackmail, ”Lutsenko said.
Earlier on October 31, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said that there are a number of signals and signs that indicate that Kiev is preparing for a serious provocation or war. He suggested that Ukraine is pulling together forces and equipment in the southern direction, as it wants to cut off the republic from the sea. Taimuraz Mamsurov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, assessing the DPR’s fears, said that there was nothing to fear.
