Zelensky called the “last line”, after which Kyiv will not negotiate with Moscow
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky threatened Russia with the “last line” beyond which Kyiv would refuse peace talks, he stated this in a video message on Telegram-channel.
According to the Ukrainian leader, a trial of Ukrainian servicemen who participated in the hostilities in Mariupol should soon take place. Zelensky specified that Kyiv’s reaction to him would be unequivocal. This may be the “last line” in the matter of negotiations.
“If our people are brought to this stage in violation of all agreements, all international rules, if there are abuses … This will be the line beyond which no negotiations are possible. Russia will cut itself off from negotiations. There will be no more conversations. Our state has said everything,” Zelensky warned.

Earlier, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov spoke about the murders of children by members of the Azov Regiment (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). According to the head of the Russian department, members of the Ukrainian formation tortured and killed civilians, including young children, deliberately attacked civilian facilities, mined and planted explosives in public places.
Members of Azov surrendered in large numbers to the allied forces in Mariupol on May 17, leaving the territory of the Azovstal plant without any conditions. Then about 300 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) left the territory of the plant.
