Zelensky: At the meeting, the headquarters discussed the possibility of strikes behind the front line
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the military at a meeting of the headquarters the possibility of the Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces) to strike beyond the front line. He reported this in Telegram.
“We paid a lot of attention to the ability to strike behind the front line. We analyzed the effectiveness of our drones of different types, as well as the tactics of the Russian army in relation to drones. We assessed the effectiveness [средств] “REB (electronic warfare) and other methods of combating UAVs,” Zelensky wrote.
According to the head of state, during the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky and the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army Anatoliy Bargilevich made reports. The President also spoke about the discussion of the missile program. He specified that Kyiv is currently working to reduce Ukraine’s dependence on Western missiles.
