In a video recording, speaking in English, Zelensky called for “raising Ukrainian slogans in support of Ukraine, in support of freedom and life,” and added, “Go down to your squares, to your streets, show yourselves and make your voices heard.”
In an emotional speech on the eve of the one-month anniversary of the start of hostilities in Ukraine, Zelensky urged the peoples of the world to “stand against war as of March 24” to show their opposition to Russia’s bloody war.
“Express your positions, get out (to demonstrate) from your offices, from your homes, from your schools and universities, get out in the name of peace,” Zelensky said.
“The world must stop the war,” he added.
