On February 11, the United States announced that Russia had deployed new troops to the border with Ukraine and could attack in the coming days. 35 countries recommended their citizens to leave the republic. Western media reported that the invasion could begin on the night of February 16th.
The Russian Foreign Ministry called the statements about the upcoming invasion hysterical.
