The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, issued 432 housing support decisions worth 298 million and 700 thousand dirhams, which vary between new construction, completion and purchase of a ready-made home, maintenance and addition to a home, in implementation of the order of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State , “May God protect him”, by completing all requests for housing grants for previous years within the “program” through the initiatives of His Highness the President of the State, with an amount of about 2.3 billion dirhams announced by His Highness in June 2022. His Excellency Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said that the batch The new housing project coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, and is a continuation of the program’s efforts to strengthen the system of family stability and happiness and raise the standard of living and a decent life for citizens, which is at the forefront of the concerns of the wise leadership, and the government’s priority for the next fifty years.
His Excellency stressed that government housing receives the attention of the wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him.” , and their brothers, Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and reflects its constant keenness to meet the aspirations and needs of citizens, and to provide decent livelihoods and the well-being of the people of the country and their families, in a way that contributes to building a cohesive society within an environment that enhances the contribution to the building and progress of the country.
For his part, Engineer Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, said that housing projects come at the top of the government’s priorities, pointing out that the program is working at accelerated steps and in accordance with ambitious initiatives, plans and projects capable of meeting the growing housing needs of the sons and daughters of the Emirates, which represents the ultimate goal that combines. It was transformed by the efforts of federal and private government agencies, as well as the private sector and national banks.
He pointed out that the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program will continue the path of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in serving the nation in line with the system of societal well-being and happiness that the UAE is keen to establish and consolidate its foundations.
