The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the Emirates Autism Associations, the Emirates for Down Syndrome, the UAE for the Deaf and the Sidra Foundation, launched a massive vaccination campaign against the Covid-19 virus for people of determination, their families and cadres, which will last for five days at its headquarters In Abu Dhabi, to extend to include the headquarters of the Foundation in Al Ain, and its headquarters in the Al Dhafra region in a later stage, in order to complement the efforts made to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and with the aim of supporting efforts to protect community members, and the Foundation is encouraged within the framework of the campaign «Be your choice to vaccinate» Upon receiving the vaccine, in order to enhance the acquired immunity, maintain the safety and health of community members, and enhance its immunity and immunity to move towards recovery.
Abdullah Abdel-Ali Al-Hamidan, Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, affirmed that the vaccine is the safest and most effective way to limit the spread of Covid-19 and maintain the health and safety of society, especially the organization’s members of the people of determination and their families, and the foundation’s staff.
He said: It is our duty to contribute to supporting the national vaccination campaign to ensure the safety of our society to confront the exceptional emergency situation that we all face, so we choose vaccination against Covid-19 to protect ourselves against the virus, so the higher the number of vaccinated people, the less the possibility of infection.
He thanked the families of people of determination for their cooperation, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, Sehha, external therapeutic services, public benefit associations, the Emirates Autism Society, the Emirates Down Syndrome Association, the Emirates Deaf Association, and the Sidra Foundation for their cooperation with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in organizing This campaign at the Foundation’s headquarters in order to facilitate the people of determination and their families and the foundation’s staff to receive the vaccine, based on their concern for the safety of citizens and residents. The number of attendees to receive the vaccine during the first two days was 94, including 39 people of determination, 26 of their relatives and 29 employees of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and their families .
