“There is no need to speculate. I must admit that what the President of the United States spoke about [Джо Байден]promising to end Nord Stream 2,” she wrote.
Earlier in the day, French politician Nicolas Dupont-Aignan called on US leader Joe Biden to explain himself after the Nord Stream sabotage.

Leaks at two gas pipelines were recorded on September 26. Immediately after the appearance of this information, the former Polish Foreign Minister Radosav Sikorski posted on Twitter a photograph of the sea surface with gas rising from the bottom, accompanying it with the words: “Thank you, USA.” He later deleted the post, for which social media users ridiculed him.
On September 28, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in connection with what happened at Nord Stream, asked Biden to clarify whether his threat to “end” the gas pipeline was realized.
On the same day, investigators of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, based on materials from the Prosecutor General’s Office, opened a criminal case on an act of international terrorism in connection with explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
The Swedish police drew up a report on the crime under the article “Gross sabotage” and began an investigation into the circumstances of the gas leak from gas pipelines. It is reported that measuring stations in Sweden and Denmark recorded strong explosions even before leaks were detected.
In turn, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov admitted that sabotage could be the cause of the accidents. According to him, the incident affects the energy security of the entire continent.
In an interview with Izvestia, Alexander Frolov, deputy general director of the National Energy Institute, indicated that the United States could be interested in the incident from an economic point of view.
