Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova ridiculed the video of Boris Johnson piloting a fighter jet
The actions of the resigned British Prime Minister Boris Johnson against the backdrop of rising prices in the country are another example of “English humor,” said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. She wrote about it in her Telegram-channel.
“Boris Johnson, as it were, shows that he likes sky-high fuel prices, and refueling is the lot of celestials. English humor,” the diplomat wrote, commenting on Johnson’s video, in which the ex-prime minister flies in a fighter jet in the place of the co-pilot.
Earlier it became known that Johnson flew the Eurofighter Typhoon. He recorded on video the process of refueling the aircraft in the air. The Daily Mail noted that the cost of one such fighter is 75 million pounds per month. The flight took place during the politician’s visit to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire last week.
