“Yuyu Hakusho”, created by Yoshihiro Togashi, is one of the most remembered shonen by thousands of fans and will reach Netflix under the live action format. The news has fans excited, hoping it will break the streak of bad anime adaptations.

What is it about?
The story introduces us to Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old boy who dies trying to save a child from being run over. His soul is sent to the afterlife, where he discovers that it was not his time yet. In order to be resurrected, Yusuke must become a spiritual investigator. His first mission will be to recover three artifacts stolen by three thieves from the spirit world: Hiei, Kurama and Goki.

Who is who?
There is not much information about the cast yet, but it is known that Takumi Kitamura was chosen to play Yusuke Urameshi, while Jun Shison will play Kurama. It only remains to wait to meet the actors who will play Kuwabara, Hiei and other characters.
The anime of the 90s
Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga adaptation premiered in 1992 and spawned two films and two OVAs. The anime began broadcasting in Japan in October 1992 and ended in December 1994 with 112 episodes. Studio Pierrot handled its animation with Noriyuki Abe directing.
