YouTube it certainly needs no introduction, it is a platform now loved and used by millions of users where you can share your videos, watch everything you want, find music and perform live streaming. Today we want to talk to you about this last function, as they arrive on the mobile app live shared!
YouTube, this is how shared live broadcasts will work!
As you may know, YouTube has long been offering a very intuitive and functional service for organizing and performing live streaming for its subscribers. Now the feature is updated as the ability to share the live stream has been added.
Specifically, with this new function you can invite a guest to hold a live show with us, but necessarily participating from mobile devices. The host will obviously handle the call and can decide whether to stop sharing with the guest, it will also be allowed only one guest at a time.
In short, a very interesting function that has some limits on who can use it, but nothing too complicated and for better or worse almost everyone could use it. Here are the rules:
- Have at least 50 subscribers. If you are of the digital age of consent, but not older than 17, you must have at least 1000 subscribers to live stream from a mobile device.
- Have had no live stream restrictions in the last 90 days on your channel.
- Check your channel.
- Turn on live streaming. It may take up to 24 hours before you can start your first live stream.
- A device with Android 5.0/iOS 8 or later.
