Video hosting YouTube has blocked the channel of journalist Vladimir Solovyov “Soloviev Live”. When trying to access the page, users see a message with the caption: “This account has been suspended for violating the YouTube Community Guidelines.”
Also deleted channel “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov”.
On March 3, Roskomnadzor demanded that Google stop spreading fake ads. The regulator said that such advertising messages appear on YouTube and contain disinformation aimed at creating a “distorted perception of current events and creating protest moods” among Russian users. After that, Google suspended the sale of advertising on its services in Russia.
On February 15, Google blocked the YouTube account of the main TV channel of the DPR, Perviy Respublikansky, on YouTube without explanation. The account itself was created in 2015 and at the time of blocking had more than 50 thousand subscribers. Roskomnadzor demanded that the video hosting service remove the blocking.
