Ángel Figueroa, a 16-year-old boy of Hispanic origin, he would have woken up from a coma caused by an attempted robbery perpetrated by four young men who pushed him into the street to steal his skateboard.
According to her aunt, Belki Brizuela, Figueroa woke up from a nine-month coma, can move the left side of her body and is receiving therapy to stimulate her brain.

The young man who lives in the city of Hemet, California, He had to undergo an operation that removed part of his skull. After waking from his coma, the family transports him each day to a rehab center in the Orange County, southern California region.

According to the police report, Ángel Figueroa was skateboarding near his home, at Stetson Avenue and Seven Hills Drive. It was there when he would have been approached by four young people who they stole his skateboard, pushed him into the street and fled. Despite the escape attempt, they were all captured.
The family says that the youths involved in the Figueroa accident have already been sentenced. Three of them under house arrest and one was sentenced to 6 months in a juvenile detention center. Those captured are also minors who do not exceed 17 years of age. Likewise, the driver who ran over the young man was not found guilty of any charges for the events that occurred, according to the British newspaper Daily Mail.
