As the Deputy Minister of Defense of Japan later stated, North Korean missiles covered a distance of up to 400 km, their flight altitude was about 50 km.
It is noted that Tokyo protested to Pyongyang in connection with the launch of shells.
On September 29, it became known about the launch of two short-range ballistic missiles from the Suncheon region in the DPRK. According to reports, the rockets flew about 350 km at a maximum speed of Mach 5.
Earlier that day, US Vice President Kamala Harris flew to South Korea. She visited the North Korean border and confirmed Washington’s readiness to use the full range of American military potential, including nuclear forces, in the event of a threat from Pyongyang.
