Yesenia and Guadalupe, sisters from Puebla and two of the victims of the triple femicide in Hidalgo; one was pregnant

In an atrocious case of triple femicide, Three women were brutally murdered at his home in the municipality of Santiago Tulantepec, Hidalgo.

The victims, identified as Yesenia, Guadalupe and Danielashowed signs of violence and stab wounds to the neck. Yesenia and Guadalupe were sisters originally from Pueblawhile Danielafriend of both, had recently arrived from Tijuana, Baja California.

Who are the victims of the triple femicide in Hidalgo?

Yesenia Yoseline, 25, worked in a clinical analysis laboratory. Her sister Guadalupe, 23 years old and four months pregnant, was in the last four months of her degree in Criminalistics at the Technological University of Tulancingo. and worked in a self-service store. Daniela, the sisters’ friend, had arrived in Hidalgo just a few months earlier, looking for new opportunities.

Yesenia and Guadalupe’s parents went to the Attorney General’s Office in Tulancingo to give their statements, after being the first people to find the bodies along with a friend of the victims.

Mother of sisters demands justice

The sisters’ mother made a desperate call for justice, stressing that “They took four lives from us because one of them was pregnant”. The family and friends of the victims, carrying signs with messages such as “Not one more” and “We demand justice,” asked the governor of Hidalgo to intervene directly to prevent the case from going unpunished.

The bodies were found on July 30, after hours of concern on the part of Yesenia and Guadalupe’s mother, who sent a friend to check on her daughters at the home located on Miguel Hidalgo Street.

The municipal police and the Hidalgo Prosecutor’s Office have launched an exhaustive investigation, opening a case file for the alleged murder of the three young women.

The funeral procession for Yesenia and Guadalupe left from the San Isidro neighborhood in Santiago Tulantepec toward Zacatlán, Puebla, their place of origin. The community and relatives insist that the case not be forgotten and that justice be done for the young women and the baby who lost his life along with his mother.
