Yakuza Kiwami live action trailer for Nintendo Switch reminds us that the game will be available in a few weeks, on October 24th, and will allow you to relive Kazuma Kiryu’s first adventure also on portability.
In the video, played by Japanese actors, the iconic sequence of finding Kiryu is recreated by the police officers, but the scene that confronts the father of the family in the commercial is decidedly less disturbing.
In fact, he sees his son playing Yakuza Kiwami and decides to join in on the experience after seeing how, uh, realistic it is. Forces aside, there is no doubt that the first chapter of the SEGA series still stands out today a product rich in content and exciting.
A new beginning on Nintendo consoles?
The announcement of the arrival of Yakuza Kiwami on Nintendo Switch undoubtedly opens the doors to new possibilities for the franchise, which will be able to take advantage of the large user base of Nintendo consoles to further increase the number of its fans.
Considering the technologies used for this remake, we take it for granted that any success will push SEGA to make it also the conversion of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 2with the possibility of also bringing the remasters of subsequent chapters to Nintendo Switch.
At that point, with the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 and the best technical capabilities of the console, nothing will prevent the Japanese company from also publishing the latest episodes, which are undoubtedly more complex from a graphic and structural point of view.
