Blue Beetle: from comics to the big screen
In DC comics there are different iterations of Blue Beetle, however, Maridueña would give life to Jaime Reyes, who debuted in graphic work in 2006 and was featured as an El Paso teenager using the powers of his alien armor to defend his hometown.
In that sense, the hero is known to use The Blue Beetle as a living weapon that attaches itself to its host body. While the artifact can act autonomously, Reyes can also control its vast abilities: morph, flight, weaponry, and much more.
