The presidential candidate of the PAN, PRI, PRD, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz, has reaffirmed her commitment to Mexican youth by presenting her innovative project called “The Villages of Knowledge“.
From Progreso, Yucatán, Gálvez highlighted the importance of providing young people with opportunities to develop comprehensively and stay away from drug consumption.
This project contemplates the creation of spaces where young people from 12 to 18 years old can participate in sports and cultural activities, and develop digital skills and artistic.
In addition, Gálvez criticized the elimination of full-time schools and day care centers by the federal government, stating that these measures harm the development of children and adolescents.
In this sense, he committed to reestablishing these programs to guarantee adequate comprehensive development of Mexican children and youth.
The candidate also highlighted her intention to replicate the successful Yucatan security model at the national levelensuring that he will seek to establish a living wage for all police officers in the country.
Likewise, he proposed that the federal government assume responsibility for financing these salaries, thus freeing mayors from that financial burden.
In relation to health, pol announced the implementation of the My Health card, which will provide older adults with access to services such as dental prostheses and cataract operations.
This measure seeks to guarantee comprehensive care for this sector of the population, improving their quality of life and well-being.
Finally, the candidate emphasized her commitment to the safety of citizens, declaring that her presidency will be characterized by courage in the fight against crime.
In his words, it is time for criminals to fear justice, not citizens.
