What will the console gaming market be like in the near future? Hard to say, but one of the possibilities discussed by Jason Schreier is that Microsoft points on portable platforms, based on the latest information circulating online.
At the same time, he believes that Microsoft is currently in one complex situation and that plans are changing very frequently.
Schreier’s words on Xbox and Indiana Jones
Speaking in a Spawn Wave podcastBloomberg journalist and insider – Jason Schreier – stated that from his point of view “Xbox is currently in chaos, I feel like their plans are changing every single year. They are currently talking continuously about the possibility of suggesting the arrival of a portable console, but who knows what will happen?”
Continuing with the speech, the journalist also makes a comment on what Microsoft’s gaming division has done in recent years. For example, he points out that a year ago Xbox stated that Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle – the first-person adventure game (plus some third-person glimpses) from MachineGames, the Wolfenstein team – would never arrive on PlayStation. Now, however, we know well the game will also arrive on PS5, although after the Xbox and PC version.
Schreier – continuing to have his say – states: “I’m a complete mess, it’s very sad.” We repeat that it is mostly about considerations, mixed with the latest announcements and rumors of the moment, but speaking of a famous journalist with a lot of “behind the scenes” information, what Schreier said is still relevant.
Obviously a moment of chaos in a company does not mean that the products produced will be of low quality. We’ll have to wait and see how things will actually go.
