In the past, video games have not always been accessible to all types of users. Those who suffered some kind of disability or illness were not on an equal footing with the rest of the players, something that is gradually becoming less accentuated thanks to the efforts of companies and studies.
A great example of this is the effort that Microsoft has made to try to ensure that everyone has the possibility of enjoying video games, as demonstrated by the creation of the Xbox Adaptive Controller, which has allowed thousands of people to enjoy this means of entertainment. But this is not the only thing that those of Redmond have done to achieve it, since it has also taken into account different configurations within the operation of its consoles and video games, and it will continue to be so.
Xbox will improve accessibility options with its next update
As confirmed by Microsoft itself through a publication in Xbox Wire, Xbox will improve accessibility options soon, as a reason for the celebration of the disabled community, with up to 20 changes that will improve this type of options within their consoles.

The first of the changes that stands out in the Microsoft publication is the one related to the game cards in the Microsoft Store. Starting with the next update, players will be able to check all the accessibility options in the same game tab, being able to see if the title has voice narration options in the menus, settings for color blind, etc.
On the other hand, we will also have other improvements such as a greater adjustment for color blind, the possibility of choosing a night screen mode or the inclusion of voice-to-text conversion in the voice chat options. These are just some of the examples that Xbox will improve accessibility options, since you can find the rest in the publication that we linked a couple of lines above.
