Microsoft announced a price increase for Xbox Series X And Xbox Series S in Japan, which will come into force next August 15th. The price of Series X will increase by 7,000 yen (about 45 euros), that of Xbox Series S 1TB will increase by 5,400 yen (about 35 euros) and finally that of Series S 512GB will increase by 6,600 yen (about 40 euros). This is the second price increase for the consoles after the one in January 2023.
Here are the updated prices for Japan.
- Xbox Series X – 59,978 yen → 66,978 yen
- Xbox Series S 1TB (Black) – 44,578 yen → 49,978 yen
- Xbox Series S 512GB – 37,978 yen → 44,578 yen
Second Microsoft This price increase will only have an effect on the Japanese market because it is caused by changes in the local economy.
